Implant Restorations

What is an implant?
Implants are titanum screws that are surgically placed into the jawbone below the gumline. Over time the implant fuses with the jaw bone, termed "osseointegration", allowing for the implant to be held firmly in place. An artificial tooth can then be attached to the implant.
The end result is a strong, secure tooth that is virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Why we choose implants
Single or multiple implants can be planned to replace missing teeth or teeth too badly damaged to be restored by traditional methods. Implants differ from other forms of tooth replacement by being able to help maintain bone levels in the region.

Dr. Paul Toor performs dental implant surgery for placement of implants, and implant restorations by attaching artificial teeth to implants.
